Sacombank continues to climb in the Top 500 World's Largest Bank Brands

In 2024, Vietnam has 15 banks listed in the ranking of the top 500 most valuable bank brands worldwide, as announced by Brand Finance, the world's leading brand valuation consultancy. Among these, Sacombank ranked 9th out of 15, also climbing 32 places compared to the 2023 rankings.

Having been included in Brand Finance's ranking of the top 500 brightest banks for five consecutive years, Sacombank has affirmed its brand strength on the international stage. This achievement is not only significant for Sacombank but also introduces to the world the positive values, professionalism, and modern technology on par with the leading financial institutions of Vietnamese banks.

Sacombank first entered the ranking of the world's top 500 most valuable bank brands in 2020 at rank 422. Over the past five years, Sacombank has climbed 100 places to currently stand at 322 in the latest rankings. This is evidence of Sacombank's efforts in investing and innovating its management and business models towards technological trends, thereby sparking and delivering experiences that align with users' habits and needs.

According to Brand Finance, one of the main pillars of brand strength is customer trust; another is the enterprise's determination to fulfill commitments and achieve strategic goals. With the motto "Customer-centric," Sacombank has always been at the forefront of applying technology in customer service. As a result, Sacombank has continuously sought touchpoints to make its product system more personalized, touching the hearts, thoughts, and habits, resonating with the emotions of customers, meeting their needs, and accompanying them for the long term. Recently, at the ceremony announcing the Top 500 Largest Enterprises in Vietnam in 2023 (VNR500) organized by Vietnam Report Joint Stock Company in cooperation with VietNamNet online newspaper, Sacombank was also honored in the "Top 50 Best Enterprises in Vietnam." This is the 12th consecutive year Sacombank has received this award.

As of the end of 2023, Sacombank's total assets reached more than VND 674,000 billion, an increase of 13.9% from the beginning of the year. Total mobilization reached more than VND 578,000 billion, an increase of 11.3%; focusing on increasing CASA deposits by 8.8%. The consolidated CAR ratio was 9.11%, the LDR ratio reached 82.77%, and the NIM ratio was 3.9%. The ROA and ROE ratios respectively reached 1.22% and 18.30%, corresponding to an increase of 0.31 and 4.47%. Sacombank currently serves more than 18 million customers. The bank was also awarded a certificate by EY Vietnam Joint Stock Company for completing the implementation of risk management standards according to BASEL III, becoming the next bank in Vietnam to successfully apply a high-level risk management standard.
